GALILEANS are Christlike disciple-making leaders. They include pastors, evangelists, cross-cultural missionaries, ministers in the campus, marketplace, and communities.
Connecting ministries, churches, and training institutions to urgently multiply Galileans to make disciples of all nations.
After almost 2,000 years since Jesus gave His Great Commission, we still need millions of harvest workers to reach the billions of people who need Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
We need Galileans who will shepherd the millions of newly established churches.
Fifty years ago, Billy Graham and colleagues challenged the global church to be more involved in Evangelism and Church Planting. The Lausanne Movement and all its similar organizations are positively involved in that original goal: “Let the Earth Hear His voice.”
Today, Manfred Kohl and colleagues are challenging again the global church to add millions of equipped Christlike disciple-making leaders. The Galilean Movement is addressing that need for the Lord’s harvest. The goal is to have 10 million Galileans by 2033.
Furthermore, Galilean Movement endorses the ‘Standards for Biblical Ministry’ established by Re-Forma.
COMPELLING ADVOCACY.
Identify and call churches, ministries, and training institutions to accelerate equipping of believers to be effective harvest workers.
COLLABORATIVE ACTION.
Designate National Directors in respective countries who will convene people and facilitate connections for collective impact.
We collaborate with the World Evangelical Alliance, Lausanne Movement, Pentecostal World Fellowship, and Christian Denominations, Mission agencies, Training institutions, Ministries, and Churches around the world.
CHANGE COMMUNICATION.
Promote a mindset and practices that offer innovative methodologies and tools that will accelerate the raising of Galileans.
We set a global standard and challenge the different training institutions and ministries to teach discipleship and exponentially increase their output of equipped harvest workers.
CAPACITY BUILDING.
Build and strengthen the organization’s human and financial resources to be an effective backbone for the Galilean Movement.
